Online Proposal to Teach an Extra-Departmental Freshman Seminar (FRS1)

Professors wishing to teach an extra-departmental Freshman Seminar must complete this form and submit it, but do not need to include a one-page expanded course outline unless they have not taught it previously or have significantly changed it. If you have not taught this seminar previously or have made changes to the content or format, fill out this form instead. A copy will be sent to the department chair for approval.

Approved proposals will be retained by the Freshman Seminar Program Committee and will be reviewed periodically by the Committee on Courses of Instruction.
