UC Davis undergraduate students’ tribute to the Centennial
For the 07-08 academic year, six Davis Honors Challenge students devoted their 4th year project to documenting the scope of Aggie accomplishment for the campus centennial. After learning the basics of oral history documentation, they selected and interviewed 29 UC Davis alumni. They edited the interviews and published UC Davis: 100 Years of Aggie Pride through the on-line print for demand publisher, Blurb.com.
They also sifted through hundreds of campus images to create a five minute film on Aggie Spirit. The campus centennial committee was so impressed with the film that they selected it for inclusion in the UC Davis Centennial pavillion for the 2008 California State Fair.
